Novatec sealed cartridge bearings make this wheelset virtually maintenance free by keeping out dirt and grime. Axle nuts also come with a captive washer to make installation easier and prevent paint damage. These hubs are paired with a 24-hole radial front wheel and a 32-hole 3 cross rear wheel which have the advantage of placing less stress on your hubs and saving weight. The flip-flop hub comes with a 17-tooth fixed cog and a 16-tooth freewheel, so you're covered for both your riding styles. All wheelsets include nylon rim-strips to protect against sharp edges and prevent tube puncture.
